2021 Men’s 4-Ball Championship

Date: Tournament kicks off 4/16/2022 Sign-ups open March 16th, 2022 until April 14th, 2022 at 12:00 PM

Time:
Participants to arrange their own tee times.
April 16th – First Round (32). (tee times starting at 8:00am)
April 30th – Second Round completion deadline (16).
May 21st – Third Round completion deadline (8).
(Extended due to The Oaks Preserve Member - Guest)
June 4th – Semifinal Round completion deadline (4).
June 18th – Final Match/Consolation completion deadline.

Format:
32 Two-Man team match play event with handicap.

Sign up via foretees.

Eligibility:
Open to all members who have played at least 3 Saturday Games in the last year OR have been a member more than six months. There is a maximum 10 stroke handicap differential allowed between partners.

P.O.Y Points:
FedEx Point Sheet’s Majors List column: 1st 1200 points, 2nd 600 points, 3rd 380 points, etc.

Food & Beverage:
None provided for this event.

Scoring:
Score to be posted by club as tournament round.
One player from each group to record on Golf Genius.

Cost:
$50 – Cart fees are not included.

4-Ball Update:

Because we have added a third bracket of 16 teams, that changes the way the final round will be run. The following is an outline of how the finals will be handle:

3 brackets means 3 semi-finalist teams

All 3 teams will play each other:

1v3 1v2 2v3

2 Points for a win

0 Points for a loss

In the event we have a 2-way tie for 1st place the two teams will play an 18 hole match to determine the champion.

In the event of a 3-way for 1st place the three teams will play holes 15-18 in a best ball stroke play format to determine 1st – 3rd places.
